The Service

Notz is a personal productivity app that combines bullet journaling, note-taking, and AI-powered features. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address and accurate information when registering. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use AI features to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the service or its APIs.
• Use automated tools to scrape or excessively access the service.
• Share content that violates the rights of others.

AI Features

Notz uses Anthropic's Claude API to provide AI-powered features including task extraction, journaling prompts, daily reviews, and chat. Your content is sent to Anthropic for processing.

• AI responses are generated and may not always be accurate. You should not rely on AI output for critical decisions.
• AI message limits apply per subscription tier: Trial accounts receive 30 messages, Pro accounts receive 1,000 messages per month.
• Anthropic does not use your data to train their models.

Subscriptions and Billing

Notz offers a free trial and paid Pro plan:

• Trial — free access with limited AI messages (30 total).
• Pro — $8/month or $70/year, with 1,000 AI messages per month and full feature access.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Your Content

You own the content you create in Notz. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as needed to provide the service — including sending it to third-party AI providers for processing.

Shared notes are accessible via their share link and are visible to anyone with that link. You are responsible for any content you choose to share.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Notz available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

Notz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or content.

Termination

Either party can terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Before deletion, you can export your data from the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Notz after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
